Wooden rocking horse made in the 1940s by the carpenter of a village in the french hainaut. Originally, the horse was made of unpainted wood, only the head was painted: mouth and eye on each side. The chair can be painted again in another tone and the head re-drawn. The back of the seat is slightly split but this does not interfere with use.
