CALDAS Kitsch vintage ceramic trompe l'oeil plate Lobster and shells Portugal

This superb decorative plate is made of vintage earthenware. It is a trompe-l'oeil dish decorated with a large lobster in the center and shells around it. It is a slip from portugal created by the caldas da rainha factory. For a kitsch decoration, typical of the 1960s and 1970s, this plate could accompany mold lamps and other ceramic curiosities. In good condition, this plate measures 32 cm X 8 cm in height. I point out chips and missing items. The lobster's antennae were broken off and reattached.
