Portrait of Louis Bleriot

Born in cambrai in 1972 louis blériot received a solid training at the ecole centrale de paris. Engineer, he made a fortune in the manufacture of acetylene headlights betting on the success of the young automotive industry, passionate about the nascent aviation they imagine, without success, devices equipped with movable shutters then associated in 1905 with gabriel voisin to design gliders and aeroplanes. Blairiot was the first to cross the english channel.
