Mirror from the Napoleonic III era. Very beautiful quality of gold leaf gilding on a black background. Lovely burnished work done with agate stone. Double shell pediment with floral drops. Base enhanced with acanthus leaves. Mirror with silver nitrate backing, bevelled (very good condition despite a lack of backing at the top right, visible in the photos) Perfect condition, restored in our "antique mirror workshop" Period parquet. Height 2m09. Width 1m34. Ideal for placing on furniture, a fireplace, or even on the floor.
