Sintesi lamp designed by Ernesto Gismondi for Artemide, 1976

Design table lamp from the sintesi series designed by ernesto gismondi in 1976. This was manufactured by the famous italian brand artemide.the lamp is adjustable in height and can also be used as a wall lamp. There is a tiny bit of paint missing from the leg (see photo) but otherwise the lamp is in very nice vintage condition. In the foot it says 'artemide model sintasi tavolo design ernesto gismondi patent pending'. A beautiful and well thought-out design lamp that you will not quickly get tired of! Gismondi founded artemide in 1960, which to this day produces some of the most innovative and interesting lighting to come out of italy. The sintesi range was ahead of its time.
