Magnificent modern lithograph illustrating a basket of natural flowers, engraved by jean baptiste monnoyer known as baptiste (1636-1699), published by nicolas de poilly (1622-1696) jean-baptiste monnoyer was a very famous flower painter, his works are of great botanical precision. This lithograph is taken from monnoyer's book entitled "the book of all kinds of flowers from nature" inscription: painted and engraved by I. Batiste of the royal academy - n. De poilly excud. Cpr (by royal privilege - cum privil regis) condition: very good condition. The paper is in excellent condition! No foxing or stains, giving the motif an admirable freshness. Slight lack at the corner of the frame, in no way detracting from the beauty of the whole dimensions: frame: ht 60.8 cm X w 47.8 cm; motif: ht 55 cm X w 42 cm.
