Zoomorphic sandstone lime pot

Zoomorphic sandstone lime pot, with beige cover, origin from thailand. It was actually used to store the lime paste used for traditional betel quid. Typical of productions from the khmer era from the 11th to 13th centuries. Collector's item, steeped in history which, through its stylized character and the warm aspect of the material, makes it a timeless and universal object.
