Antique Painting of Horses, Classic Gold-Leaf Frame, 92x74cm

Antique painting depicting a rural scene of horses hauling tree trunks, accompanied by a farm worker. It is signed in the lower-left corner—we believe the date 1909 can be discerned—and originates from Belgium. This beautiful, classic piece is housed in a magnificent gold-leaf gilded frame; the entire work possesses a lovely patina consistent with its age and history of use. The item is in good antique condition, showing signs of age and use commensurate with its vintage. There is a small hole in the canvas and a few old repairs; the canvas was originally larger and has been trimmed to fit the frame. Please refer to the photos for further details. Dimensions: 92 x 74 x 7 cm. Weight: 7.3 kg.
