Knoll table Saarinen

Unmistakable, the Saarinen table is a classic of 20th century design. Designed by Eero Saarinen, it is composed of a sublime round top supported by a characteristic central base. Elegant and timeless even today, the Saarinen table fits just as well in the kitchen or your living space as in public spaces or as a meeting table. Its round top is made from Arabescato marble, a stone originating from the town of Carrara in Italy, white in color with gray veins of varying width and clarity. It rests securely on a central foot in machine-polished cast aluminum and protected by a white Rilsan coating. The marble is covered with a glossy transparent protective polyester varnish protecting it from stains. Thanks to its beveled edge, the Saarinen table top appears light, whatever its dimensions. Please note that the veins of the marble on each table are unique, as marble is a product of nature. The Saarinen table collection, as well as the matching Tulip chairs, were created in 1957 by Eero Saarinen, it was a revolution in the world of design.
