Empire meridian, 19th century, solid wood, unique piece.

Magnificent antique meridian in Empire / Restoration style, dating from the early 19th century (circa 1810–1840). The textile upholstery is later (around the 1970s), in excellent condition, with pink and gold tones, very decorative and immediately usable. Structure made of solid wood stained mahogany, resting on turned legs. Backrest with balusters featuring a central medallion painted with floral decoration, typical of late Empire vocabulary. Authentic piece of furniture, stable, sound, with no play or structural weakness. Ideal for a classic, eclectic interior or a characterful decoration.
