Large floor lamp Artemide Callimaco Italian vintage

Callimaco LED floor lamp by Artemide designed by Ettore Sottsass. Rare Callimaco floor lamp, limited edition signed by Ettore Sottsass, in black finish. This vintage model, highly sought after, comes from the very first limited series produced for a Parisian gallery. This initial version is particularly remarkable for its rarity, as it predates the integrated dimmer found in later versions. A testament to Sottsass's characteristic sculptural boldness, this floor lamp combines geometric precision with playful proportions, illustrating the designer's innovative approach to postmodern lighting. Its elegant black finish enhances its architectural presence, making it a functional light source or a centrepiece in a contemporary interior. Uses an R7s bulb. The dimmer works perfectly, but the plastic rod serving as a switch is slightly broken. Some signs of wear and small dents on the base (see photos).
