Description
Truly scandinavian mid-century modern free-standing wall unit in teak with two cabinets, a display shelf, a floating desk, and three practical shelves. It is a 2-bay completely modular shelving system “ergo”, which was designed by john texmon and einar blindheim for blindheim mobelfabrikk, made in norway in the 1960s. Slightly curved cabinets make a warm impression and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement. Overall dimensions. Height: 204 cm, width: 165cm, depth: 42cm. The wall unit consists of: 1 cabinet with a sliding door and four drawers – dimensions: height: 47cm / width: 78cm / depth: 42cm; internal drawer height: 8cm. 1 console-desk – dimensions: height: 15cm / width: 78cm / depth: 42cm; 2x internal drawers – dimensions: height: 9cm. 2x plate shelves 15cm high. 2x shelves 20 cm deep. 2x winged shelves d: 21cm / w: 78cm. 3x rails. Overall, it is in great vintage condition with very minor traces of use, the interiors are clean, and all drawers work smoothly. Renewed with additional layers of danish oil.
