A small forest enclosed in porcelain. This round vase by Camille Tharaud showcases a swirling decoration of stylised ferns, fronds, and plant scrolls across its entire surface in a stunning range of brown, hazelnut, and turquoise green. An emblematic creation from Limoges, made of glazed porcelain. The cream background, subtly marbled, adds beautiful depth to the decoration, while the short neck is highlighted by a thick brown line. The decoration known as "Ferns" belongs to the naturalistic vocabulary developed by Camille Tharaud during the interwar period. The composition completely envelops the spherical shape and changes depending on the angle from which the vase is presented. In very good condition.
