Danish designer bookcase Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen

Superb Scandinavian teak bookcase, circa 1960. Beautifully crafted, it is composed of 3 stackable and independent units. Designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen, it is a Danish HG Furniture edition. The 3 elements are stamped inside with a black "Furnituremakers Danish Control" sticker. The base unit is a chest of 4 drawers with designer handles. The middle unit has two glass doors without interior shelves. The upper unit has 6 modular shelves and sliding glass doors. In very good used condition, the set offers a large storage capacity while having a small footprint. Perfect for a small space! The 3 stackable elements are clean, sound, and perfectly stable. The furniture has been fully cleaned and is ready to be installed. Visible signs of time: small traces of use in the drawers. The right-hand glass door of the intermediate unit has a small chip in the lower left corner and a small chip in the upper corner. Total height: 201 cm. Total width: 89.5 cm. Total depth: 40 cm.
