Rare set of 12 brass steel velvet chairs from Maison Jansen 1960

Superb and very rare set of twelve chairs model curule savonarola published by the house jansen in the 60s. This set consists of 12 steel chairs embellished with touches of brass, with a seat cushion reupholstered in a striped velvet fabric from casamance. Iconic pieces of the jansen house, in the pure neoclassical style that has forged their fame. These chairs are of a rare presence, and will decorate both a traditional and contemporary interior. They are heavy and robust, but also very chic and decorative.
