Oval vintage dining table extendable 'Atterton'

Model "atterton" is a dining room table of english origin in a very special version of the brand "schreiber". In the late 60s, early 70s, a series of sleek and modern-looking furniture from this manufacturer came out in england, they were designed entirely according to the prevailing trends with details that we see with brands such as g-plan, just look at the beautiful drawing of the wood grain. We also see many influences from the then very popular scandinavian design language. Model "atterton" is a table from a slightly earlier period, where the factory still used noble veneer, made of real wood. The table is in a neat used and restored condition, still very beautiful to look at and full of character, from the first owners in england and still in use there until the beginning of 2023. Our own workshop has completely restored and checked the table, so that the table will function perfectly in addition to being very beautiful to look at. Of course there are some traces of use visible, accumulated in the past 60 years, but never really disturbing for our taste, the photos give you a neat picture of the table. It is striking that this table is oval when folded, and is more round in shape when unfolded, the whole is unlocked by means of a handy pull rod and can then easily be folded back in by 1 person, a wonderful system!
