Phillip Cantrell "Michigan Forest"

He lived in paris from 19 to 23 years old, during which time he cultivated his unique talent for landscape paintings. A sense of mystery and realism fills his paintings, which are, for the most part, representative of the american school. He returned to port austin in 1950 where he painted mainly local landscapes.
