Elegant marble and rosewood console table, Italy, 1950s

This Italian console has a chic neoclassical spirit! All the spirit of the style that reigned in Italy in the 50s under the influence of artists such as Gio Ponti or Paolo Buffa...masters and precursors of current design. Very pretty vintage console, Italy 50s, front in rosewood (veneer) varnished with small decorative bronzes, four blackened wooden legs and porphyry marble top (green). On top are placed a Nicolas Floch vase and a Scandinavian apple pocket in Wenge, on the wall a German engraving dated in graphite 1928 (illegible signature) and a Viennese-style mirror, next to a Ginko gold leaf light...
