Designed by Erik Wørtz during the 1950s, the “Kolding” sofa reflects the balanced approach of postwar Scandinavian modernism, combining light proportions with finely crafted teak construction. The slender frame highlights the quality of the wood through tapered arms, refined legs and the distinctive slatted backrest, a defining feature of the model. The cushions have been recently reupholstered in a light fabric that complements the warm teak tones and the restrained character of the composition.
