Description
The 19th century developing the notion of historical heritage had very early nostalgia for a fantasy middle ages, where the vast halls of castles were decorated with coats of arms, coats of arms and tapestries inhabited by monsters and chimeras. From the second quarter of the 19th century, taste wanted to recreate this mesmerizing ideal in interiors that had gained enviable comfort.
