Cansado Console by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1962

Console designed by charlotte perriand in the late 1950s. The rectangular top is laminated with gray melamine and rests on a black lacquered metal structure; cansado is a mining town built in the 1960s by the société des mines de fer de mauritanie "miferma" to house its staff.
