Creator: Théo Ruth Manufacturer: Artifort Countries: The Netherlands Year: 1950 These two innovative mid-century modern design armchairs were designed by Theo Ruth in the 1950s. The chair is called Penguin and uses a technique in which two elements slide into each other. This elegant and sculptural piece of furniture, also known as the 1003 model, is published by Artifort. Measuring 81 cm in height, 56 cm in depth and 76 cm in width (with a seat height of 46 cm), This armchair not only offers comfort, but also an iconic design element that fits well into different interior styles. The chairs have been carefully upholstered with a high-quality upholstery fabric also originally used by Artifort.
