Victorian Dressing Table, Triptych Mirrors, UK, 1900

Wooden dressing table / chest of drawers. In the upper part of the piece of furniture is a large central tilting beveled mercury mirror flanked by two smaller, retractable beveled mirrors. Beneath this is a small shelf with a central drawer. It rests in the lower part on a chest of drawers with three graduated drawers, each with pendulum handles and decorative plates in the Art Nouveau style. The dressing table chest of drawers is mounted on small casters, which makes it easy to move. The two parts separate. The drawers slide perfectly. It is in good condition, without any missing parts or snags, the mirrors swivel easily.
