Suspended lamp OVNI Space Age by Luigi Colani, 1970s

Vintage design. Colani applique suspension. Striking lamp from the 1970s with characteristic shape and colour of the era. An impressive object and a functional light source at the same time. The base shape forms a cube placed on a point. The frame is made of translucent red plastic. White acrylic elements are used as surfaces. These are concave and curved inwards. The design is attributed to Luigi Colani but is controversial in design circles.
