Swedish mid-century modern pendant lamp by uno and östen kristiansson for luxus. This minimal mid-century modern pendant lamp or hanging light was designed by swedish brothers uno & östen kristiansson and produced by their company luxus in vittsjö, sweden. This model is number 538 and was designed in the 1950s. It features four cylindric shaped diffusors connected by a wooden stick. The diffusors are made of plastic and therefore are very resistant and light weight. Each diffusor holds a 1 X 27 / e26 edison screw fit bulb. It is wired, in working condition and run both on 110/230 volt. The hanging height is adjustable and allows a maximum height of 210 cm length. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition and bears the company's label. Two lamps available. Swedish designers and brothers uno & östen kristiansson, known for their lighting and mirror designs, were particularly active from the 1950s to the 1970s in sweden. They were prolific designers with a clear design aesthetic that is easily recognizable as scandinavian modern.
