This very beautiful enameled ceramic tureen is stamped Boch Frères, a family ceramic manufacturer in Belgium which took this name in 1844 but whose beginnings date back to 1748 and which is also at the origin of the Villeroy and Boch brand. Their website indicates some of the most used stamps, by comparison we can think that this tureen would date from between 1910 and 1966. It is an off-white color, without colored decoration, simple but with pretty harmonious lines and a charming handle representing a pear. It has probably never been used because it is in very good condition for its age, no cracks, just a small jump on the enamelling at the edge of the lid, barely visible and two small original defects (because covered with enameling), one in the soup tureen, the other on the interior edge of the lid, as well as barely visible and original "drips" of the enamelling, under the anchoring points of the handles (see the different close-up photos. It measures 31 cm in width (handles included), 25 cm in maximum diameter (handles not included), for a height of 13 cm (lid not included) and 23 cm in height with the lid.
