Decorative plate by Jean Lurçat

Limoges porcelain plate with decoration by jean lurçat, 1950. This modernist rooster gives this plate a whole new dimension and makes it very decorative. Lurçat was an important painter of the 1930s, we find in his style influences of picasso with whom he would have frequented.
