Soriana 2-seater sofa by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Cassina

This sofa changed the history of upholstered furniture. It is the fruit of the imagination of Afra and Tobia Scarpa, who designed it in 1969 based on the new possibilities offered by the molding of polyurethane foam capable of generating unconventional relaxation. Ours is upholstered in natural suede; the base is in polished stainless steel. It is in perfect original condition. Compasso d'oro in 1970. Part of the permanent collection of Moma in New York and the Georges Pompidou Museum in Paris.
