An iconic piece of inflatable furniture from the 1960s and 1970s, this translucent orange PVC pouf embodies the playful and experimental design of the era. This anonymous model, designed between 1968 and 1970, is similar to the one acquired by the Centre Pompidou collections in 2007 (inv. AM 2007-1-19). Made of polyvinyl chloride, it has a circular shape with a characteristic central well and a flat base. Its dimensions are close to the example held at the museum: approximately 45 cm in diameter and 32 cm in height. Two inflation valves are present and functional. The object is in good overall condition, with visible signs of use (superficial scratches, traces of wear on the surface), but without structural defects. It can be used as an extra seat or decorative piece in an interior inspired by Space Age or Pop design. A fine example of accessible design that has become a collector's item.
