Old bilboquet in solid wood varnish and its cord. Height 20cm. Very good condition. Several other models. —- A bit of history. The origin of the bilboquet game is rather obscure. Some sources say that it first appeared in france at the end of the 17th century, but the clothes of the oldest engravings showing bilboquet players are from the 18th century. King henry III of france introduced the bilboquet fashion during his reign (1574-1589). He loved to play there during his walks surrounded by his cute.
