This richly molded round rosewood pedestal table is a magnificent example of napoleon III period craftsmanship, dating from the mid-19th century. Inspired by the "return from egypt" style, it combines elegance and functionality. The folding top, thanks to an ingenious pivot system, is surrounded by a braided molding and a striated belt, adding a touch of sophistication. The baluster-shaped shaft is also striated, reinforcing the refined aesthetic of the table. The triangular base, with its scrolled uprights, ends in lion claws mounted on casters, allowing easy mobility while adding a majestic note.
