Magnificent ceramic lamp enamelled by jacques blin (1920-1995), rock decoration of stylized birds and plants, 50s / 60s. Perfect condition (revised electrification, new lampshade in white fabric). Height 27cm (foot), 40cm with lampshade. Width 20cm. Signature engraved underneath "j blin". Jacques blin (1920-1995) After studying aeronautical engineering, jacques blin worked in this branch for several years as a draftsman; attracted by the plastic arts, he approached ceramics, then he devoted himself entirely to it from 1948-1949.in 1954, he set up a workshop in paris and exhibited at the maison de la chimie and the salon des céramistes et métiers d'art. His pieces cast with speckled enamel and engraved decorations of birds and primitive animals are highly sought after.
