Vintage Boroque Style Brass Floor Lamp

This is a vintage floor lamp crafted in an ornate Baroque style. The piece is defined by its sculptural brass form, which provides a dramatic contrast to the modern simplicity of its lampshade, creating a compelling visual statement. The lamp features a highly detailed, cast brass construction for both its base and slender column, showcasing intricate foliate and scroll motifs characteristic of the period. Standing at a height of 166 cm with a width of 45 cm, its presence is substantial yet elegant. The lamp is crowned with its original, tapered drum shade, finished in a deep black velvet-like textile. The interior of the shade has a reflective gold lining, designed to cast a warm and inviting glow when illuminated. Presented in very good vintage condition, the lamp shows a character consistent with its age. The brass has developed a subtle, authentic patina over time, enhancing its antique appeal without detracting from the intricacy of the metalwork.
