Handmade 240x140cm Romanian Kilim carpet

Ancient kilim rug, made in western romania, probably about 100 years ago, a very rare find, having on it the national colors of romania. Very nice and in good average conditions. In romania, years ago, every mom handmade for her beautiful carpet and carpet girls as a point for their weddings. I grew up with this: every winter, at my grandmother's house, the women of the village, the neighbors and the parents, spend the evenings and those long winter nights together, working on beautiful wool rugs or other handmade items. Today, the art of making carpets is almost extinct. Now we try to discover and put in the context of modern design these beauties. That's our story.
