beautiful extendable dining table in the Louis XVI style, made in the 20th century (1930 to 1950) and attributed to the famous Parisian manufacturer Jansen (Maison Jansen). The ink stamp under the table corresponds to the workshop/cabinetmaker marking used by Maison Jansen for their sliding mechanisms. It has been stripped to raw wood by our technicians and is ready to be varnished, oiled, waxed, etc. It features four tapered legs in solid walnut with fluting inspired by Louis XVI, a belt adorned with gilded bronze rosettes of acanthus leaves. The marquetry top is decorated with a sunburst or diamond point veneer pattern, with an elegant banded border in walnut burl. The original sliding structure includes a central support leg to accommodate numerous extensions. The original extensions are not provided, but we can manufacture up to four extensions to accommodate 4 to 12 or even 14 guests, allowing you to host friends and family around a large table. Count on €100 for each additional extension in solid pine and €130 for each additional extension in solid oak. Traditional assembly with non-removable legs. It is possible to apply a clear matte or satin varnish finish, medium oak satin varnish, light oak satin varnish, golden oak satin varnish, or dark oak matte varnish for an additional +€100.
