Unframed oil painting on canvas depicting a seated man smoking a pipe near his stone house. In the background, coastal landscape, sea and sailboats. Signed table. Inscription on the back on the frame: dupré cie; 141, rue du faubourg saint-honoré; paris (artists' supply house 1919-1964). Traces of age. Note, a hook in the canvas at the bottom in the middle to see close-up on the descriptive photographs. Measures: 38 X 45 cm / 14.96 X 17.71 in.
