Pair of Art Deco Consoles in Mahogany and Lemonwood, Circa 1930. Rare and elegant pair of Art Deco consoles from the 1930s, made of mahogany with spectacular grain and lemonwood inlay. These pieces charm with their architecturally structured lines typical of the Art Deco style. Each console features a rectangular top with softened corners, showcasing a magnificent symmetrical decoration of flamed mahogany. The solid central base rests on a moulded plinth adorned with discreet metal scrolls that enhance the elegance of the whole. The clean design, quality of the woods, and balance of proportions perfectly illustrate the French Art Deco aesthetic, where the nobility of materials takes precedence over excessive ornamentation. Geometric shapes and the emphasis on the natural grain of the wood are characteristic of furniture from this period. This pair can be used as entrance consoles, side tables, serving tables, or as accent tables in a classic or contemporary interior. Beautiful quality of cabinetmaking, restored and presented in excellent condition. Period: circa 1930. Style: Art Deco. Materials: mahogany, lemonwood, metal elements. Dimensions (each console): Height: 77 cm. Width: 95 cm. Depth: 51 cm. Very good overall condition, with a superb patina highlighting the shimmering reflections of the mahogany.
