Large vintage Italian plate made of hand-painted ceramic with flowers.

We have a particular fondness for exuberant antique ceramics, especially those that seem made for impossibly long lunches somewhere in the French or Italian countryside. This wonderful large vintage plate is entirely hand-painted with blooming flowers. Generously sized, it is perfect for serving a substantial salad, piles of fruit, or an alarming amount of pasta to hungry guests. In the photographs, it is at the bottom of the stack, discreetly showcasing both its impressive scale and how charming a coordinated mix of these plates can be. Like a small ceramic orchestra where each piece sings with a slightly different accent. The hand-painted decoration gives the plate that irresistible character of yesteryear that we always seek.
