Black ceramic table lamp base with a stylized anthropomorphic silhouette, designed by Gil Agnoloni in the 1950s. Gil Agnoloni (1912–1988) was an Italian artist and designer active in the mid-20th century. He is mainly known for his sculptural ceramic creations, mixing figurative art and modernist forms. Based in Italy, Agnoloni produced a limited series of decorative and utilitarian objects in the 1950s and 1960s, including lamp bases, busts, and stylized figures.
