A commander cared about the fate of one of his slaves and asks jesus to heal him. The gospel presents the roman soldier to us as a good and humble man who does not take advantage of his position to obtain a favor. Oil painting on canvas, first canvas, of great pictorial quality and particular workmanship. In fact, the perception of space is distorted because the author created the scene using a convex mirror.
