Superb Louis XV period gendarme's hat cabinet in solid walnut, opening with two doors and interior shelving lined with fabric. The pediment features a carved eagle and uprights carved with foliage motifs. The cabinet is fully demountable and pegged, in very good condition, both for its age and appearance. Overall dimensions include the cornice. 154 cm wide x 69 cm deep x 245 cm high.
