Reproduction of a traditional curved comtoise clock gilded cherry wood, enameled dial pediment in aged brass, pendulum worked in aged brass 2 cast iron weights of 3 kg, behind the pendulum head ribs opening on hinges allowing access to the mechanism lyre door: the door follows the shape of the pendulum, regency feet base with plunging cutout in the middle double-ringing iron cage movement, copy of an old one the formwork is of french craftsmanship with an assembly of crosspieces and uprights enclosing the massive side panels, which ensures a lifespan and stability of the clock. French manufacture the mechanism of this comtoise model is made with very large cogs, still manufactured in franche-comté, as in the 19th century. The striking of a bell or a gong or both at the hour and half hour will sound daily with repetition of the hour strokes 2 minutes later. This means that on the hour, the number of shots will sound corresponding to the time it is (1 shot, 1 hour, 2 shots, 2 hours, etc.) then one shot every half hour.
