Set of two watercolors laurent mattio 1892 1965 provence

Set of two watercolors by laurent mattio, provençal painter (toulon 1892-1965) on vellum paper. Admitted to the salon of french artists in 1919. The first work represents a scene of rural life by the sea (we can see the harbor of toulon) note that the protective glass is old in drawn glass; which adds to the charm of the painting. The second represents an alley in a provençal village. Signature on each table. Excellent condition. No stains, no tears. Dimensions with frame: 1/ width 52.5 cm height 44.5 cm 2/ width 27 cm height 22 cm.
