Superb mah jong modular sofa in the 'sonia rykiel' version. A rare find on the second-hand market. No longer available in the current collection. Designed by hans hopfer for roche bobois. Painter, sculptor, designer... Hans hopfer designed several sofas which have become emblematic pieces of the roche bobois collections. In 1971, hopfer created the mah jong, a modular sofa that advocated total freedom of form and function. From three basic elements that can be combined or stacked, the can allows unlimited composition options, ranging from the simplest to the most complex: armchair, sofa, lounge chair, bed or living space. It allows all positions and all uses. Normal signs of use due to use. Missing 2 buttons.
