Scandinavian armchair in teak and gray fabric by E.Homa, 1960

The gfm-142 armchairs were designed by professor edmund homa, one of the most prominent polish designers of the post-war period. Produced in the second half of the 1960s by the Gościcińska furniture factory, these chairs reflect Scandinavian design influences, captivating with their perfect proportions, solid craftsmanship, and exceptional comfort. This set of two armchairs has undergone comprehensive wood and upholstery restoration. The beech wood frames were stripped of the old finish, refinished with a teak wood stain, and protected with multiple layers of lacquer. The upholstery was entirely replaced and covered with natural wool fabric that meets quality and flame-retardant standards. Dimensions: Total height: 73 cm. Seat height: 36 cm. Depth: 42cm.
