Magnificent vintage glass bowl/trinket dish made using the Italian "Sommerso" technique. An elegant piece of glass art with sculptural organic shapes, featuring a deep cobalt blue heart encased in a mass of clear glass. Original basket shape with pinched handles at the top. The base is perfectly smooth and hand-polished. In perfect vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. Style: Mid-Century Modern / Murano / Bohemian Art Glass. Technique: Blown glass, Sommerso.
