We are delighted to offer for sale this very beautiful pair of George III serpentine consoles made of satinwood and painted tulipwood, dating from around 1780-1790. These fine and highly decorative English pieces are rare to find as a pair. They have been lightly cleaned, waxed, and polished, show some slight signs of patina but are overall in very good condition. Dimensions: height 71 cm, width 123 cm, depth 47.5 cm. Please refer to the detailed photos for the condition. Please note that antique and original items such as leather seats will always exhibit natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear. Regular waxing is recommended to preserve moisture, and hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to prolonged sunlight to avoid drying out and discolouration.
