This is an old teapot representing a hen. In sandstone. Made in japan. It still has the 'made in japan' sticker underneath. The hen is white and brown with blue polka dots. Dimensions: height: 18 cm, width from spout to handle: 19 cm, depth: 12 cm. Weight: 620g. Very good condition, vintage. There are no chips or cracks. This teapot was made by hand. The color is not solid. We can see a little more of the color of the stoneware on the top of the teapot. (view the photo). This is normal and demonstrates craftsmanship. This pretty object will appeal to collectors of chickens or teapots.
