pink porcelain service Hass & Czjzek

Beautiful vintage pink service from the hass & czjzek faience factory, particularly known for its bohemian porcelain, from the horní slavkov region (formerly schlaggenwald), in the czech republic (then austria-hungary, then czechoslovakia). Consisting of a handled dish and eight dessert plates, of fine quality in pale pink fine porcelain enhanced with silver edging and silver handles for the dish, with a classic decoration, elegant lines typical of the art deco style and shape of the dish and plates not quite round. Very slight pedestal for the dish. Stamped: "h & c / czechoslovakia / chz", with a characteristic coat of arms. This hallmark was used by hass & czjzek between 1918 and 1945, a period during which the porcelain was marked "czechoslovakia" (after the end of the austro-hungarian empire in 1918). Good condition, no flaws, no chips, silver edges in very good condition, some very light micro-scratches from use. Dish diameter: 24 cms plate diameter: 18 cms.
