Yellow duckling small terrine Michel Gaugant, Earthenware duckling chick trinket box

This is an old small yellow duckling shaped terrine. The lidded dish is made of earthenware and is signed 'michel gaugant'. It has been hand decorated in yellow and orange tones. The interior has been enamelled in white. This object was once used to present traditional french pâtés. It can also be used as a trinket box. The terrine is old and dates from the 1970s. It is in very good vintage condition. Note traces of wear underneath and a slight, barely visible crack inside (see photo) the terrine is small. Dimensions: height: 11.5 cm, length: 15 cm, depth: 8.5 cm. Weight: 290 g care: hand wash, do not put in the oven. This collector's dish will be a beautiful addition to your rustic kitchen or a country decoration.
